Welcome to Claxton

Claxton is an English civil parish within the district of South Norfolk and the county of Norfolk

The village of Claxton in South Norfolk lies some 8 miles or so to the southeast of the centre of Norwich. Although close to the city, Claxton is a rural village with most of its attractive land being farmed. It is also a historic village with archaeological evidence of settlement in pre-historic times. Today the most evident links with history are the church and the castle remains attached to Claxton Manor.
